One solution to crowded 'freeways' - bike together to work
The Economist's list of top ten cities in the world, (based on safety, livability and cost of living):

1 Toronto
2 Montreal
3 Stockholm
4 Amsterdam
5 San Francisco
6 Melbourne
7 Zurich
8 Washington, DC
9 Sydney
10 Chicago.

Something is wrong with this list, folks. Doesn't wasted time in traffic snarls count, and 30 years of wasted time in City Council trying to decide to think about maintaining infrastructure?
